Milton Keynes Dons FC is delighted to confirm the continuation of its partnership with high-performance tyre specialist Yokohama during the 2008/09 season.

Building on a successful partnership during the memorable 2007/08 season, the Japanese company - whose UK base is just a stone's throw from stadiummk in Mount Farm - has agreed to cement its position as one of the Dons' Club Partners.

Last season saw the first for the partnership between Yokohama and the MK Dons, which Yokohama saw as a valuable opportunity to support its local community.

It turned out to be an inspired decision; the Dons were promoted to League 1 of the Football League and in addition, claimed the Football League Trophy in March backed by 33,000 Dons supporters at Wembley.

In addition, Yokohama was proud to see the Japanese company's logos displayed around the 31,000-seater stadium throughout the season, as well as enjoying the opportunity to support the team in person, along with a selection of guests and VIPs.

For the 2008/09 season, Yokohama will benefit from a number of new branding opportunities - most notably on stadiummk's segregation facilities at the north end of the stadium.

MK Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman, said: "Yokohama has been a solid supporter of the Club since our move to stadiummk and we are proud to be associated with this global brand, with a cutting edge reputation and its roots in the Milton Keynes community."
