MK Dons will begin their defence of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a Second Round home tie against AFC Bournemouth.

Roberto Di Matteo's side were drawn with home advantage against the Cherres in Saturday morning's draw live on Sky Sports' Soccer AM.

Newly-appointed Bournemouth manager Jimmy Quinn will bring his side to stadiummk the week commencing October 6, with the exact date and kick-off yet to be confirmed.

The two sides met in the Third Round of last season's competition with the Dons winning 2-0 at Dean Court on their sensational Road to Wembley.
