MK Dons completed an historic Double at Bradford City, as first half goals from Jude Stirling and Lloyd Dyer saw them crowned League 2 champions.
Paul Ince's men chalked up a record-equalling 18th away win of the season against the 10-man Bantams and added the League 2 title to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy won at Wembley last month.
It was the crowning glory for Ince's all-conquering side, who, led by Keith Andrews, produced the typical mix of quality and determination that has made them the most feared travelling team in English football.
Not in 61 years has a team won as many games away from home and it may be another 61 years before the achievement is matched.

Dons players celebrate winning the title at Bradford City. |
Given that they were two goals and a man to the good five minutes before the break when City winger Joe Colbeck lost his head and lunged in on Dean Lewington, you might say the Dons made hard work of it.
But even after Omar Daley had pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time, you sensed the men in red - so adept at closing out tight games on foreign soil this year - knew they wouldn't be stopped.
Credit must go to Bradford, who made a right go of sending departing legend David Wetherall out with a bang despite playing a man light for an hour.
Dons striker Aaron Wilbraham might have eased the tension with 15 minutes to go, but saw his shot bounce back off the crossbar having sneaked up on unaware City 'keeper Scott Loach from behind.

Dons fans start the party after their team won the title at Bradford. |
But on the evidence of the first half, you would never have believed it would be so tight at the end, such was the Dons' dominance.
Despite resting defender Sean O'Hanlon from the start, the Dons were a class apart in the first half with Andrews orchestrating proceedings.
Having just forced a flying save from Loach with a curling free-kick minutes before, it was Andrews that started the move from which the Dons opened the scoring with a ball out to the left flank.
Dyer got one-on-one with his marker Darren Williams for the first time, and left the full-back for dead with a devastating burst of speed.

Jude Stirling heads the Dons in front on 14 minutes. |
His cross was a gem, crying out to be put in the net, and Stirling duly obliged, arriving behind Mark Wright and stooping to head home at the far post.
The home side almost hit back immediately when midfielder Kyle Nix found himself with space inside the area but, despite scuffing the ball past Dons 'keeper Willy Gueret, Carl Regan was on hand to hook the ball off the line.
With the lead in place, the Dons were perfectly positioned to play on the counter and when Gueret came out to catch Eddie Johnson's corner, he set Wright on a typical raid down the right.
The winger was only able to win a throw-in, but Stirling's threat from such set-pieces is renowned, though Bradford obviously didn't realise.

Lloyd Dyer volleys the Dons into a two-goal lead. |
Dyer was the only Dons player in the penalty area, but Stirling's huge throw was inch-perfect, allowing Dyer to steal between three defenders to volley his 11th goal of the season.
It was all too easy, men against boys at times - Ince's side were a threat every time they came forward.
Andrews combined with Dyer and Wilbraham before seeing a shot bundled past the post by Loach and Wilbraham saw a similar effort deflected wide shortly afterwards.
Andrews was proving impossible to mark and when Stirling's excellent ball down the right allowed Wright to centre, the Dons skipper's snapshot was only blocked by team-mate Alan Navarro.

Lloyd Dyer and his team mates celebrate the second goal. |
Frustrations were mounting in the home camp, particularly in Colbeck who was unhappy with an earlier challenge from Lewington and was visibly irritated.
Referee Karl Evans had no option but to dismiss him on 39 minutes and Colbeck could have few complaints after raking his studs down Lewington's shin on the left flank.
It looked an impossible task but, as the Dons defence went to sleep, Daley gave them hope.
Danny Swailes was the man caught napping on the edge of his own area, and Daley was sharp as a tack to the chance. He robbed the ball, slipped inside Regan and drove his shot through Gueret from 12 yards.

Paul Ince and Sean O'Hanlon celebrate after the final whistle. |
Wright should have regained the two-goal cushion from Stirling's long throw in first half stoppage time but sent his header straight at Loach to keep the lead down to one at the break.
You'd never have known Bradford were a man short as they started the second half superbly, forcing the Dons back despite their numerical disadvantage.
Barry Conlon was starting to cause problems for the Dons defence with his physical presence and when Wetherall rose to meet a Nix corner, only Andrews' goal line clearance denied him.
As the home side threw men forward, chances at the other end were always likely - Dyer and Wilbraham both going close to breaking through.
Even after Wilbraham's miss on 74, lurking behind the negligent Loach before springing from nowhere as the 'keeper rolled the ball in front of him, the Dons still had the chances to make it safe.

Dons fans celebrate clinching the League 2 title. |
Substitute John Miles came the closest when his well-struck volley was hooked off the line by Williams, and the Dons should have been made to pay.
Danny Heckinbottom launched a long throw at the other end, Swailes was only able to help the ball into the danger zone and defender Mark Bower stabbed over when it looked easier to score.
The final whistle was met with a pitch invasion from the over zealous Bradford fans, meaning the Dons' celebrations were delayed until the pitch was cleared.
But as the champagne flowed and the supporters and players celebrated, Ince quietly joined the party.
He can't have hoped for a better season.
